RECEIVES COC – NEW FUEL PRIMER BULB

            Sparta, Tennessee — Moeller Marine Products receives Certificate of Conformity (COC) from the Environmental Protection Agency for its New Fuel Primer Bulb.

As of January 1, 2011 fuel primer bulbs must comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations. These new regulations limit the level of permeation the fuel primer bulb can emit per day to 15 grams per square meter. Moeller’s New Fuel Primer Bulb is complaint to the new EPA and CARB regulations and offers the same quality, functionality and feel as our previous fuel primer bulb design.

RECEIVES COC – PERMANENT FUEL TANKS

            Sparta, Tennessee — Moeller Marine Products receives Certificate of Conformity (COC) from the Environmental Protection Agency for its rotational molded Permanent Fuel Tanks.

With an implementation date of July 31, 2011 or Model Year 2012 the permanent fuel tanks produced for Recreational Marine Industry must comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. These new regulations limit the level of permeation the permanent fuel tank can emit per day to 1.5 grams per square meter (if tested at 28C) or 2.5 grams per square meter (if tested at 40C). Moeller’s permanent fuel tanks are complaint to the new EPA regulations and only emit a fraction of the maximum allowed.
