Low Permeation Tank Technology

Moeller barrier fuel tanks contain an inner layer of ethanol-compatible nylon and an outer layer of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). The materials result in a robust construction which is UV, slosh, and abrasion-resistant which compliance with the following standards and regulations, regardless of tank geometry:

	Installation Requirements Using our “Permanent Tank Installation Guide,” we analyze your specific conditions so that the fuel system is a perfect match for your particular installation. This analysis may include a visit to your facility to perform an onsite audit of the tank in the vessel. More Less	Construction During the Construction Review, we analyze materials, thicknesses, and related criteria. We assess components and set their locations to achieve the best performance and provide tank to be used within a system; not just a tank but a solution. 	Standards Review While we evaluate tanks using domestic standards and requirements (ABYC, EPA, USCG, NMMA), we check out requirements for export or international projects. There maybe an opportunity to reduce costs (for example, by eliminating the permeation layer) while meeting all ISO and CE specifications.
